I had no idea that the Librarian’s Index to the Internet LII - New This Week is available as an RSS feed until I started going through Jenny Levine’s Sites I Read in My Aggregator. I was reading her blog post about the software she has installed on her Treo 600, when I noticed the link in her sidebar. No, I don’t have a Treo 600. Sigh.
If you are new to blogging, you may wonder what blogroll means. Common Craft posted an explanation of what it is and why you want one. My sidebar has links to weblogs that I read, like The Shifted Librarian; that is my blogroll. However, like Jenny, I am quickly outgrowing the sidebar, and I am looking at doing something like Jenny Levine, but possibly organizing them like Rebecca Blood does on her weblog: what’s on rebecca’s portal?

LII has had an experimental RSS feed since spring, but we haven’t marketed it because we were waiting until we could host it on our own server. We are SO close! We tested the feed this week, and it is probably fair to say that ALA Midwinter is the major obstacle to rolling it out. So stand by for the “real” LII feed, coming real soon now.

Thank you for the clarification. I got the the feed to it through Bloglines, and it looked good to me.
