Library Clips put together a list of tools to re-mix RSS feeds so that you can get a per site or master category feed: RSS: filter and re-mix :: May :: 2005. They susggest that you can use some of the tools to develop a topic portal.

Marc Hedlund, on O’Reilly Network, has an article, New Bloglines Web Services, which discusses the new API services offered by Bloglines. He explains that the new API services allow “developers to write applications for reading RSS and Atom feeds by drawing data directly from the Bloglines databases.”

Aside from the articles, there is a note in the “TechWatch” that Duke is giving “1,650 incoming freshmen this fall an Apple iPod as an experiment to see how the devices affect teaching and learning.” Initially, Duke is planning for students to download course materials, lectures, audiobooks, etc.
