Not good enough. Not enough material for this to be considered a decent book.

Derek is her brother's best friend. They have practically grown up together. Both from broken homes, Hannah understands what troubles him. If only she didn't lust over someone she considered forbidden fruit. The attraction hits them both right away when they see each other after so long. Hannah is back and single again. Can there be too much of a good thing? Hannah and Derek claim that one night is all it will be. Derek is trying to take care of an ungrateful grandfather. He needs to escape, and Hannah gives him much needed humor and happiness. The story is a solid one, with a good pace. I was frustrated at times with the characters. I felt like some parts were stuttering at me. I enjoyed the story overall and the book is a good one. ***This ARC copy was given by Netgalley and its publishers in exchange for an honest review.

unexpectedly yours is a cute story about going after what you want inspire of the possible outfall, but doing it while still covering your back. it describes true feelings of confusion and what happens when you don't lay all your cards out on the table. I'm not a huge fan of older women younger men, but this was close enough it wasn't a huge issue. the characters are real and I was dragged into their personal drama, making it hard to put the book down. I could have used more at the end. I can't be more specific without spoiling. but it needed more explanation before the epilogue.
