I was disappointed. Books are usually Always better than the movie. Not in this case. I wanted to read the book to get more details and information… but…

The movie was better… Cassie was so selfish I almost quit reading, there should’ve been more at the end and the author should have researched diabetes a bit more.

at first i was i thought it was better then the movie but now that i finished it i can definitely say that the movie is better. the whole toby storyline wasn’t needed like at all but i really like the extra detail the book had

I watched the movie first and fell in love with the movie. So I wanted to read the book after watching the movie a few times. Was nervous about reading the book because of reviews I read. But glad I didn’t listen to the reviews and read the book. Some parts followed the movie and some parts didn’t and that’s what made the book great!! Sequel???? Definitely recommend reading the book even if you watched the movie already.

Definitely not comparable to a Nicholas Sparks book as a previous review lead me to believe. Ok read but way more bad language than necessary 🙁

I’m usually a book over movie person BUT the book was blahhh compared to the movie. Nothing alike-super disappointing because I loved the movie!

This book is amazing! I love how she shows the struggles of the two main characters in all aspects, their personal issues, their beliefs and how the change with everything that happens to them with time, I love how she touch the subject of diabetes and really make a life style of it, how she touch on the life of an addict and his struggles, I wish she had touch on PTSD but I guess it could be a struggle for the next book, and with this said I really hope we have a sequel of this book, a continuation on the story, I would love to know more about Luke and Cassie!!!!!!

Usually I am all about the book because it has more detail than the movie when I’m always left wanting more HOWEVER I think I’m this case the movie is 100000 times better than the story. I HATED the whole Toby story line in the book. My view of Cassie changed after reading and not for the better. I was really let down reading this. Hopefully this review helps save you some time.

I read this book because I loved the movie but still it was missing too much sentimental detail, and it kinda let me down lacking the same…ughh 😔
