A Review of A Love So Deadly (To The Bone #2) by Lili Valente Shattered hearts - 5+++++ stars Gabe did what he thought was the right thing, by breaking up with Caitlin, but he just couldn't stay away. He decides that he needs to tell her the truth about what is going on and why he broke up with her before the end of the summer. Good thing too, since he just happened to see her being kidnapped later that same night. When he figures out who has her, knowing what kind of sick, evil games he has played before, he knows that he needs to get to her as quickly as possible. Their dangerous activities have now turned deadly and it's possible one or both of them will not make it out of this mess alive. And, if they do make it out alive, how will Caitlin deal with the loss they are facing? Why would Gabe not want to fight for a future? This book had me on the edge of my seat for most of it and crying ugly tears for most of it. It definitely gives you all the 'feels' that I've come to expect from Ms. Valente. This is one loooong roller coaster ride that will break your heart and then allow you to sew it back together, piece by piece - they just may not ever fit the same. Oh boy! This is a hard review to do without giving anything away. It's a hard one to put down! Twists and turns everywhere! Kept me reading that's for sure! Caitlin and Gabe have an unbelievable connection most couples don't have. Their feelings of right the wrong grow stronger in arrangement for the summer. The last "job" they did almost ended in tragedy and Gabe realizes he has to break it off. He refuses to let her know the real reason he is leaving at the end of the summer and chooses to leave her now. Caitlin is devastated! Her love for Gabe can never be replaced by anyone. Caitlin suffers more heartache but tries to survive without Gabe. Another cliffhanger but hopefully the next book will be done quickly! It's a 5+!!!

Lili Valente you are brilliant. Loved 'A Love So Dangerous' and I couldn't wait to see what was going to happen next for Gabe and Caitlin. As usual you did not disappoint in 'A Love So Deadly.' I was so engrossed throughout this book with the raw emotions of the characters; loss, lust, infatuation, love, grief, jealousy, and betrayal. How much more can Caitlin endure in her life? After the devastating reality that the love of her life is gone, she decides to close that chapter of her life and start a new one. A new start and a better life for herself, her siblings and her niece. Did she expect that the one person who she loathed the most would be the one to offer her this golden ticket? No, but then again when has anything in her life been predictable. Although she is living in paradise, Caitlin's heart is still hollow and longing for him. She just can't forget the one man that made her feel alive, Gabe.

Lili Valente, Queen of the Cliffhanger, is killing me! After the whammy that she delivered in A LOVE SO DANGEROUS, she continues to make me want to throw my e-reader across the room with the angsty perfection that she delivers in A LOVE SO DEADLY. I fell in love with Gabe's and Caitlin's story in the first book. They were the star-crossed lovers, Romeo and Juliet meets Robin Hood and Marian, and I absolutely loved the way that their story unfolded, and the love that grew between, not just the two of them, but between Gabe and Caitlin's siblings, too. Each character was so well-developed and real that you felt like you knew and loved them, and when the first book ended, WHAM, Lili cliffied me, and, Oh.My.Goodness. I was left with one heck of a book hangover, and could not wait to see came next for everyone. Lili has outdone herself with A LOVE SO DEADLY. Picking up directly following the first book, it feels like no time has passed at all. Because of Gabe's love, and his faith in her, Caitlin has changed from a girl just getting by to a woman, and she's become stronger in the face of the loss and betrayal that she's dealt with. Doing the best to move forward and forget her heartbreak, Caitlin's new life offers security for her and her sibings, although she can't forget the love that she lost. And when tragedy strikes again, and Caitlin returns to her hometown, she's in for the shock of her life. These books totally have my heart. 5+ star reads, I have loved them from the first chapter of the first book, and I'm anxiously awaiting A LOVE SO DEEP, the final book in the series, because there is so much that still has to be resolved, so many questions that are still unanswered. So, Lili, bring it. I'll be right here, waiting.

This one picks up right where A Love so Dangerous ends. Holy moly this one keeps you end the edge of your seat. The twists and turns this one takes had me gasping. I found myself saying no, yes, NOOOO, then YES!!! This does leave off on a cliffhanger, but boy is the story of Gabe and Caitlin so good. I really can't wait for the next book because boy it's going to be good.

A Love So Deadly picks up right where A Love So Dangerous leaves off, with someone waiting in the shadows for Caitlin and then lights out… This book is so intense and you start off on the edge of your seat to see if and how Caitlin can get away… unfortunately she learns exactly why Gabe left her and just how serious the situation is…. This book keeps you on that roller coaster of emotions from the moment you open the book till you turn that last page… its another amazing cliff hanger and I can’t wait to get the next book! Loved it!

A Love so Deadly picks up exactly where we left off. On the edge of our seats! I couldn't turn the pages fast enough. Lili is the Queen of the cliffhanger and I love and hate her for it. I know it's coming and I love the anticipation of seeing those words, "Gabe and Caitlin's story concludes…" Everything is this book is taken up a notch. The chemistry, the sexiness, the emotions. It's like a storm that just keeps rolling in. The writing is perfect, the characters are deep and the story is outstanding. Gabe and Caitlin are one of my favorite couples of Lili's. I need A Love so Deep right now! It’s as if my soul is keeping its distance from my skin and bones, realizing it might do damage if it gets too close.
