Scallion is just entertaining! Love his work!

I really liked the politics and the characters. Call me old-fashioned, but there was way too much swearing…that’s why I gave it four stars. But I’m still about to purchase the next title in the series!

A lot better than I expected. This book is riveting with twists and turns, and closes the story well but left open for the next in the series. I’ll definitely be reading on.

I was looking for something simple and fun as a distraction. I found so much more. I’m hooked. The characters and the plot and the dialogue especially are fantastic.

I absolutely guarantee that you will be hugely disappointed if you read this series. The author just throws in the towel and doesn’t even try to finish his work. Scalzi you are a hack and Tor Publishing you should be indicted as co-conspirators in the fraud that is this book.

Disappointing compared to his first 3 of Old Mans War. I started to feel like Scalzi Was running out of ideas towards the end of that series, and with the first book of this series ending on an obvious cliffhanger with incompletely developed characters, incomplete world development, and annoyingly gratuitous profanity etc. it’s just not bringing the same punch as the other series. Not worth the price, not worth paying for the next books either. Less and less story for the price with each book he writes.

Just finished the final book in this series. It is awesome.

If I have any complaints it's that I'm done with this series and I want more.
