I don’t write many book reviews, but I had to write something for this amazing book. I came for the sexy story, and I stayed for the sexy story, but I also stayed for the beautiful love that grew between the main characters. I felt a happiness in my heart when I read their interactions. I laughed out loud several times. There is strong character building for even the secondary characters, which I appreciate. I felt immersed in the story and can’t wait to read more in this series.

This book honestly seems as though it was written by a thirteen year old girl. The premice of the story in itself is a little odd, and the author never really explain when this genetic engineering began. Or how these people got involved into this, considering they couldn’t reproduce and she makes it seem as though it has this long history with a lot of cultural aspects. There was an abundance of loose ties that never really added up, and at most points reading this i was just uncomfortable. Fury wasn’t primal in a sexy way, he just seemed odd. Also the emotions through this book are all over the place, one character’s mood will suddenly plummet with no explanation. WHen it got down to the sexy times, i was…dissapointed. I wouldn’t say i was disgusted they were just really easy to skim over. Also theres a few points in the story where (maybe it’s just me) but i was rooting for the people against Ellie. SHe was extremely obnoxious at parts along with Fury. Overall, i would highly recomend you not spend your money on this book. It seems like some tween’s fanfiction someone just decided to publish.
