Loaded with lots of drama!

All of the books in the Curtis Black series that I’ve purchased and read have been page-turners, filling the reader with anticipation to get to the next chapter. This book seemed slightly to be unrelated. It was predictable, and I found myself losing interest, skipping redundant dialogue and very disappointed in the outcome which was predictable. The characters seemed superficial and underdeveloped. I love Ms Roby’s books, but this one strayed a bit and was not up to par with preceding books in the series. I wish I’d not purchased it.

Great read. Hated to put it down. Didn't want it to end.

This book was ok! I was able to determine the resolution early on! Typical Curtis Black series! Needed more suspense! I would have like to hear from Raven in jail. John all of sudden disappeared. Why did Kane hire a pi out the blue? I am ready for Curtis Black to turn evil again or something...we need more juice!! Want to hear from Matthew and Curtina too!! How is Alicia and Levi? This series need a new angle! Maybe someone can get Aids or cancer or something. Is anybody hiding their sexuality? Is Phillip really dead? Can Dillion's mom come back to life!! Bored!!
