This story covers many types of stereotyping from cover models, cowboys, autism, to down syndrome. It amazed me how well Roxanne was able to catch the typical stereotyping and show it isn't all it is suppose to be be, and demonstrate the persons true colors. I also enjoyed the previous relations that showed up in this story. DeeDee was able to figure out what is really important in life, Issac was able to relax and start to enjoy his brother Mark, while Mark was able to streamline into life more and have some independence. Looking forward to reading more stories of Roxanne's. I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.

The Chocolate Comeback (Love at the Chocolate Shop Book 7) by Roxanne Snopek This is model Deirdre "DeeDee" Cash and Isaac Litton's story. DeeDee is back home in Marietta. She needs a job and ends up working for Isaac caring for his brother Mark. This is a sweet and heartwarming romance. If you love small town romances where the town pulls together to help each other, then you will enjoy this story. I enjoyed Mark's character too. A heartful story that I could not put down. Deirdre has returned home to Marietta with her head hung low, she left town as an aspiring actress and it did not pan out. Now needs a job, she takes a job as a caretaker of Mark, who has downs syndrome. Mark lives with is brother Isaac. Soon Deirdre has , Mark's life improving as Isaac watches on, as Isaac's heart opens up to Deirdre. Deirdre is only here temporarily or will she open her heart to these two young men. Loved, loved this book!! Deirdre really opens her heart up to the town of Marietta and soon the town opens up to her too. Deidre is such a good person to Mark, treats him normal and helps him make better decisions, ok so the reward is Sage's chocolate, but in limited amounts. Isaac is a dream, so good to his brother, maybe a little protective but awesome. The relationship between Isaac and Deirdre is slow building and sweet. I highly recommend this book along with the rest of the Chocolate Shop stories!! Can't wait for the baby. 1 like

I loved The Chocolate Comeback by Roxanne Snopek, the seventh book in the Love at the Chocolate Shop series. Especially the manner in which Ms. Snopek dealt with the struggle Dee Dee Cash had with trying to figure out who she was and what she really wanted. Did she want to return to New York and resurrect her modeling career or stay in Marietta with her family, Isaac, and Mark? In addition, Ms. Snopek did an excellent job handling Mark Litton with his Down’s syndrome and his relationship with his brother Isaac and Dee Dee. Isaac was a wonderful addition while he became a member of the Marietta community. I really enjoyed reading this book and had trouble putting this book down, reading it in one day. I highly recommend this book to other readers. I am so looking forward to the next entry in the Love at the Chocolate Shop series. I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book

Deirdre "Dee Dee" Cash has returned home to Marietta Montana from New York City jobless and no plans for her future. Isaac Litton has taken responsibility for his handicapped brother Mark and moved to Marietta for the hopes of a slower pace of life for the two. Mark takes to Dee Dee immediately when they meet during a walk in the park. Isaac doesn't think Dee Dee is a good fit to help care for Mark while he is working but when she doesn't give up he sees just how good she is with Mark. When Isaac and Dee Dee begin to have feelings for one another the pull back due past relationships. Can the two move past there hurts and develop a future? I really enjoyed this book . The characters were likable fun and easy to root for.
