Description

Charlotte Daley is the daughter of the newly elected POTUS. An only child, she’s both spoiled rotten and entirely neglected by her powerful family. She’s been forced to eat with the right forks, smile at all the right times, and be the picture of perfection for months. Now that her father is in office and too busy to know she exists, she’s determined to exercise her new freedom before she heads back to college in New York.
Zane Parker has one job—to protect the President’s daughter, all day, every day. But she’s been on a partying spree since the inauguration, heading down a dangerous path that threatens to ruin her reputation and cause a major scandal for her father. Zane will lose his job if he can’t get her under control. Except he wants to sleep with her as badly as he wants to set her straight. She needs discipline. And he might be just the one to give it to her.
When unexpected circumstances tie Charlotte to D.C. for the foreseeable future, Zane makes her an offer that’s anything but honorable. He’ll give the first daughter all the thrills she’s seeking in exchange for one thing… Her obedience. Fascinated by Zane’s dark promises, Charlotte agrees. Submission has never felt so good. But as Zane brings her deeper into his forbidden desires, enemies surface and danger lurks…
Misadventures is a romantic series of spicy standalone novels, each written or co-written by some of the best names in romance. The stories are scandalous, refreshing, and, of course, incredibly sexy. They’re the perfect bedside read, a ‘quick blush’ for the reader who loves a page-turning romance.

Definitely a good read! Charolette and Zane are such a great couple! There’s secret service, forbidden love, sneaking past body guards, and just one quick turn after the other.

I truly wanted to love this book, but it felt so rushed to me. There wasn't an epilogue, which I thought was a missed opportunity. I also think this book could have done without the dominant factor. It seemed to copy quite a bit off of Fifty Shades of Grey. The story line was actually great, which is why I actually finished this book. Because believe me, I almost didn’t when the dominance came into play. Thankfully that was really just one small part of the book.

This is a delicious story filled with passion, an intriguing plot, unfulfilled desire and forbidden love. Charlotte is the only child of the President of the United States and she is tired of pleasing her parents and pretending to be happy. On the outside Charlotte's life looks perfect but her parents are inconsiderate and unloving and control her every move. All Charlotte’s parents are concerned about is getting elected and what people think. Charlotte is tired of pleasing everyone but herself and she is ready to have some fun but Zane, her sexy secret service agent, keeps getting in the way. Charlotte is driving Zane crazy. He has his hands full with this party girl who is ready for trouble. One of Zane’s biggest problems is his is attraction to Charlotte. Zane wants Charlotte, but knows he can't have her and he is finding it harder and harder to resist her. Zane is protective and caring and he will keep Charlotte safe no matter what. She has him twisted into knots and nothing is important but her. I enjoyed this passionate and emotional story. Zane and Charlotte care about each other but her parents will never allow them to be together. I liked both Zane and Charlotte and found it easy to relate to them and I wanted them to find a way to be together. Zane is macho, protective and is always trying to do the right thing. Can Zane and Charlotte find a way to be together? Thanks to the author for providing a copy of this book vIa Cocktails and Books and Netgalley. The opinions expressed are my own.

This was an absolutely wonderful book that I could not put down. I was rooting for Charlotte and Zane through the whole whole book and there where so many twists and turns I wasn’t sure what was going to happen. I could not put this book down. Charlotte is the first daughter and her parents pretty much ignore her and Zane is one of her secret service agents that are in charge of keeping her safe. But they may just want to hit the sheets together. This story is great with Zane needing to keep Charlotte out of trouble of her own making and some from outside forces. Meredith Wild and Mia Michelle have done a great job with a wonderful book that keeps you interested and you won’t want to put it down. This is another hit in this series and I can’t wait for the next one i this series of stand alone books.

Misadventures of the First Daughter was a perfect, steamy, and fully enjoyable read by Mia Michelle and Meredith Wild. I have loved each and every one of the books in this incredible series, but none of them have owned me quite as much as this book did. From the very first pages of the story, I was swept up into the all consuming fire storm of connection that was exploding between Zane and Charlotte. Everything I got with those two is something I won't soon forget. It was bursting with fire, laced with some very real feelings, and every new page that I got with them both just made me love what I was reading even more. This book made me blush, it melted my heart again and again, and it showed what can happen when two people who are not supposed to be together, can't seem to fight what they feel and what they share. Every word of this story engrossed me more in everything they were sharing, and invested me wholeheartedly in the fire, in the heat, and in the wholly real connection they shared together. What I got with Charlotte and Zane as I read this book gave me at all. It gave me them, they gave me the very real feelings they shared, and it gave me every bit of drama and action and suspense and romance and fire along the way. What I loved about this book is that it gave me a couple that should not be together, yet still could not help but feel and give into what was sparking between them. This book and it's events pushed them, their limits, and their hearts, and it pushed all of mine right along with theirs in the most amazing way. The way that Mia Michelle and Meredith Wild bring this story to life will have you living and experiencing and relishing in every word you get with them. You will be with them through all of the twists and turns, you will be with them as that fire and that steam turns into something more than either of them bargained for, and you will be with them as they see what could be. Charlotte and Zane were the absolute best. I loved how real they felt, I loved how protective he was, I loved how she pushed his buttons every chance that she got, and I love that everything between them felt right even when the world and those around them said it wasn't. Charlotte and Zane were such dynamic characters that completely stole my heart from the very first pages of this book. Those two gave me it all along the way as I read this book, and I loved getting to know them and getting to discover and experience the depth of what they shared as the story unfolded. Meredith Wild and Mia Michelle created their characters in a way that made them authentic, made them so easy to love in every way, and in a way that made the connection and fire they shared tangible. I loved every moment of getting to experience that while reading this book, and it was just another thing that made this a phenomenal read. Misadventures of the First Daughter was another outstanding addition to the series. It was outstandingly written, it had two characters that were real, genuine and honest, and so easy to love and root for, and it had a story that I could not put down from start to finish! This book had it all, and it perfectly well together a story of heat and fire, suspense and action, all while giving me a love story that hit my heart and other parts of me in the best way! I can't say enough good things about this book. It's probably my favorite of the series so far, and it makes me eager even more to get more of the series, and more of these authors' exceptional writing! Misadventures of the First Daughter will not disappoint you one little bit, so do yourself a favor and run yourself to it this instant!

Since Charlotte's father has been elected to President, she has been an afterthought to her parents. When they do think of her, it's in criticism and constant control of her life. She's desperate to gain back some of her own control but lacks the maturity to make the right decisions. Zane has been fighting his attraction to Charlotte since he was assigned to her detail. He's had enough of her bad decisions when the latest brings her to the attention of someone who won't take no for an answer. Zane is a Dominant and he knows the best way to bring control into Charlotte's life. This was a hot little read. Zane comes off as cold and unfeeling but you see him defrost the further you get into the story. Charlotte was a bit too immature for me but Zane definitely makes this story. I enjoy reading an H that starts out all tough and melts for his heroine. ARC provided by NetGalley
