I’m about to buy so many copies for my friends and family I’ll be broke the rest of this month. I want to see all my people grow and flourish and I don’t care if it’s at my expense. Easily the best book I’ve ever read.

I wanted to read something that really would help me get through the challenges of the day. I love being productive and feel I own my life. You can only own your life if you own each day. This book really helped me start to do that for myself.

Pretty much your standard self help book. Reminds me a lot of Bulletproof Diet. Most of the advice is probably common sense and be found in other places, but I guess its nice to have it all in one place. I’d recommend it.

I’m kind of a personal development junkie, so I have read A LOT of personal development books, and this is one of the best I have come across!! I LOVE the format because it lays out exactly how to implement various tips throughout the course of your day. I have had trouble trying to figure out how/when to implement health tips before and this makes it so much more clear. The writing is fantastic, funny and relatable and easy to read. And while some of the info I have heard before, he presents it in a way that makes it much easier to actually implement, and I definitely learned a lot of new things as well. And all the research is listed in the notes with links to all the articles if you want to dig a little further on a specific topic. Overall this is a great book and I highly recommend it to anyone wanting to optimize their day!!

I respect the author’s hustle, mindset and attempt at a prescription for personal success. I listened to a few podcasts with the author that inspired my purchase of this book. I was impressed and intrigued after many hours of interview (Tim Ferris). However, as someone who is always attempting to learn more about myself, look for personal improvements, change up fitness and health routines, I was overall disappointed in the book’s content. Most of the chapters are set up with summarized, common knowledge about basic health concepts. Most of the data is general, not cited research nor does it contain anything truly unique. Even a chapter devoted to Wim Hoff is decently mainstream knowledge thanks to Carney’s book “What Doesn't Kill You.” If you haven’t done much reading or exploring into health and fitness, this is a good synopsis of many topics. Otherwise, the last few months of Men’s Health magazine offers the same depth and range topics contained in this book. I respect and credit the author for pushing the boundaries and the intentional lifestyle, just believe this content was more common than I had hoped.
