What a wonderful story…on one hand, a romance, on the other, an eye opening account of life in Cuba. A story many do not know. Enjoyable reading with lots to ponder!

Well rewritten! It had alittle of everything romances, history, drama, hope, and more.

I left Cuba when I was 16, I’m 21 now. I’ve always feel intrigued by the thought of how life was before 1959. This book answer many of my questions. I cried a lot, because many of those feelings are still part of me, the love for my country, mi Cuba, mi Habana , the love for my father and grandmother that still live there(like Luis’), the love for my beloved childhood friend (like Ana). The writer did a great job portraying the feeling that Cubans in the exile an in the island feel, the old and new generations. I loved it!!!

Great story and loved the historical account of Cuba reflected in the book.

Loved this book.....read it late into the night. It’s one of those books you can’t put down because you have to know what happens next. I know some people didn’t like the history that’s included. But I thought it added to the story. I can’t imagine not being able to finish the twists and turns to find out how the story ends for each woman.

Awesome read! Highly recommend.

It was OK I would Have preferred more history and less romance, but it is a good read nonetheless.
