This was a great read. The story line you can guess, the big bad protector and meek girl will fall into love BUT allllll the twist and turns made it a new spin on a old story line. I love that the female lead finds her own voice. The professor in Texas? Omg hello that’s just like my own. All around good read. Good ending with the perfect cliffhanger for more.

Loved it! Sweet, but not sappy. Interesting and believable characters.Mystery of the con kept me interested.

I usually do not rate books. But, this one is different. I stayed up every night reading this book. Couldn’t put it down. When I drifted off I still had it in my hand. Like mysteries? Can’t go wrong with this one. Now for the next one. But maybe I better catch up on the sleep and housework first. Lol

Great book! Once you start reading it, you get very engrossed. Then before you know it, the book is over.

An author who can write a terrific suspense/thrilling/ romance and keep you wanting to keep reading. Can’t wait to read the next .

This is my kind of read. Mystery, action, some humor and all kinds of twists and turns. I didn’t want to put it down.
