  • Love small-town romance!

Small town romance is my favorite sub genre of romance, and when I think of small town, I think of Melody Grace. I’ve been intrigued by Griffin for awhile, and I was so happy to see Lila and him have a story! Witty, heartwarming, and sexy, plus cameos from all of your favorite Sweetbriar Cove residents!
  • Sweet Briar Cove Series

I have given this five stars because the light happy stories kept me reading. So much so, that I read the whole Beachwood Bay series followed by the Sweetbriar cove one! I really love how the author relates back to the previous books and continues with the stories twisting and weaving the relationships throughout. BUT... I do wish she was a bit more consistent. The timeline does not always seem to follow the correct order which is distracting when you know all the stories. I also would encourage the author to find a new editor as I found numerous typos and omitted words etc. That being said it was not enough to distract the reader in entirety as I have seen in a number of books :) All in all, I would purchase and read these books again.

Lila Moore comes back to Sweet Briar Cove, after leaving the groom at the alter earlier in the year, to hide from the paparazzi and restart he life away from Hollywood. She literally runs into Griffin at the store before rushing away before she is recognized. Fast forward to later in the day when Griffin goes to check out the yard of Lila's house without her knowing and Lila, thinking she has been found by the paparazzi, soaks poor Griffin with the hose. Needless to say a rocky start for the two of them. Both Griffin and Lila are battling not only their attraction between each other but each of their pasts as well. Sweet read that is a wonderful addition to the Sweet Briar Cove series.
