The story had me interested from the beginning. There’s danger, deception and romance. We get brief glimpses of both Izzy and King’s past. There are two time periods that it switches between and it doesn’t distract from the story. The romance was sweet and chemistry good but a bit quick. It wasn’t a long book or timeline so I imagine that’s why it was a bit insta love in my opinion. I like a bit more heat usually. Overall I enjoyed it, I liked the characters and the plot.
