  • Great content. Could use Ned Editor

I enjoyed the Chloe Fine series and can’t wait to read the next two. Unfortunately I feel the editing is poor. At least twice in one book the character Rhodes was referred to as the character Moulton. Also, there is a lot of misspellings and missing words. I will continue to read these books and I will continue reading the Riley Paige mysteries regardless. But please consider getting a new proofreader.
  • Good but really bad editing

The editing in this series needs some work. This book is not as bad as others in the series, but the errors are really obvious. The story is not bad though

The tension in this book is great. I can’t help but like the main characters. Jumping into this series in the middle, however, is not s good idea because the reader won’t quite be sure what’s what.
  • This might be my top favorite series from Blake!

This might be my top favorite series from Blake! In this book, Chloe is sent to find out who murdered a wealthy influencer, after recently moving to the DC area. This case takes her around multiple theories and as she continues to dig deeper, the answer is staring at her right in the face. On the other side of this storyline, we have the situation between Chloe, her sister and her father. The cliffhanger in this book was AMAZING – I’m interested to see what Danielle’s thinking and what her thought process is, especially after some of the decisions she makes throughout this book. I also found it interesting that Chloe was pulling from her personal situation in regards to her case, and that really her instincts are something that she should go off of, seeing as in the end her suspicions were pretty on point. Something I love most about this series is how it’s really two situations being worked on at once. We get one resolved with each book, but the other is just added to, making it more complex and the readers more attached. Genius! I can’t wait to find out what happens next, and of course another great read from Blake! After all the successful series Blake has written, of course this one is a hit as well. I voluntarily read and reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.
