I’ve always loved Greek Mythology and wasn’t certain why. I think it’s because I’ve been waiting for this book series. Meredith Wild and Angel Payne make a dynamic writing duo. The depths Maximus is goes through to get to Kara is miraculous. His desperation to get to Kara leapt off the pages. It’s a absolutely wonderful story that you won’t want to miss.

A fantastic continuation of the sexy supernatural romance between the beautiful demon Kara and the hunky demigod Maximus. After the heart-stopping ending in the first book, our couple is coming to terms with the revelations that will forever change their lives. Max finally has some answers about his past with more revealed as this story unfolds. Kara is hopeful her situation will have a happy conclusion as her mother sets out to achieve the impossible and sister Kell is thrown under the bus. That bus being the nasty demon and Kara's sorta ex, Arden. Max and Kara are determined to stay together at all costs and have some help from the elusive god of gods, Zeus. This is a terrific romance with suspense and danger as supernatural beings jockey for supremacy and one couple in the middle of a decades old curse. It's thrilling and white hot as the super sexy couple love and live for each other with the threat of being forced apart at every turn. I can't wait for the exciting conclusion to this fantastic romance. A must read!

This is the second book in the Blood of Zeus series and it is not a standalone. It picks up where the first book left off and once again readers a spun into a world that melds the past and present so beautifully with Greek mythology thrown in for good measure. Theirs was a love that was never supposed to be but the heart wants what the heart wants and the rest of the world, underworld included, be darned. Maximus is learning about his parentage and that is bringing about some amazing discoveries. Kara is making some concessions to appease her mother so that she can be with Maximus which thrusts the two of them into the limelight. However, is Kara’s mother doing it for virtuous reasons? I think not! Regardless, this is one tour de force created by two stellar writing dynamos that will have you on the edge of your seat as the drama unfolds. This is not one to be missed! I am on bated breath counting down until the third book is due to release and I have a feeling that I will want more from these dynamic secondary characters that I hope Ms. Wild and Ms. Payne will consider penning in the future. I highly recommend this series! I volunteered to read a copy of this book.

Book 2 Another great one with more questions than answers! Although I didn’t get the answers I wanted, I can’t wait to get them in the next book. These books are hot romance with Greek mythology. Kara and Max relationship deepens with lots of twists and turns thrown in.

Soooo good, but I expected nothing less from Meredith and Angel. I fell in love with this couple during book one and boom two doesn’t disappoint. Maximus and Kara are everything and I need book three now!

WOW! The action never ends but Maximus and Kara’s love and devotion doesn’t either. It seems like everyone has an ulterior motive or, at least, their own reasons for “helping” them stay together. Will they be able to overcome all of the obstacles in their way? Will the world be the worse off if they do? Will the Gods let love win in the end? Hopefully, we will find the answers in the next book. I don’t think that my heart will be able to take the wait!
