This story was absolutely captivating. True romance story at its best. Very unique for a mail order bride story. Loved it.

Excellent book!! Excellently written. Major page turner !! Loved it !!

This book felt like the author tried to put everything they could think of in the book whenever it came to mind. While there were many storylines, there were too many to really feel like there was any investment from the author so why should the reader care. I only finished this out of morbid curiosity and not because I felt any connection to any of the myriad of characters.

Great read

One of the better books I have read—and I read a lot! Stands alone, without the need for another book to complete the story. The succeeding books are there, should you rush to continue, but it is NOT necessary in order to feel completion upon reading this book. Well edited, I found no errors in spelling nor structure. The story of Kevin and Aileen is well-paced, believable, and with enough story-tension to keep you reading. The characters developed for each sibling stays consistent with the introduced personalities. All in all, a book I recommend highly!!

Ms Flightner’s new series about the emigration of the O’Roarke Family from Ireland to Montana via Montreal in 1865 is one I’ll keep reading. As multitudes of Americans, my family also arrived from another country - in my case it was Scotland! But they liked each other and Kevin never thought he would find someone who intrigued him like Miss o’Keeffe. As Kevin and Ardan lay in their bunks that night This is Just The Very Basic Beginning to a wonderfully suspenseful romantic engaging love story I just couldn’t put down....I loved this with a wonderfully delightful plot with engaging characters. I was given this and I voluntarily leave this review.
