If this has a five... read it! Logic, detail,and plot... Romance but fits with the story; a bright irreverent woman fights for truth, an old lover and finding peace with her officer dad who deserted her. 5 stars rating is not easy to give- but Freethy transcends just romance with logical and Intelligent suspense. Can’t wait for the next one!

Fearless Pursuit is # 8 in the series and boy does i t deliver! From the first page to the last you are so engaged in this story! If you love mystery, intrigue and romance this is the book for you! I so loved Jax and Maya’s story and Barbara Freethy delivers another wonderful book! Highly recommend!

Fearless Pursuit moved quickly from the first page! It’s filled with suspense, action, intrigue and enough plot twists that I wasn’t able to guess what was coming next. I enjoyed how Jax and Maya’s stories intertwined together to create an exciting page turner. The book kept my undivided attention as Maya unraveled the story and secrets of her grandmother’s life. Through Maya’s investigation, Jax was also able to bring some resolution to his parents disappearance. It’s amazing how Barbara skillfully draws you into the story and the characters. One of my favorite parts of a series is catching up with characters from the past. I was glad to see some of my favorites from previous books were involved in this book. I highly recommend Fearless Pursuit and look forward to the next book in the series!

I loved this book as much as the others. Off The Grid series is one of the best I have read. Can’t wait for the next one. Pudge48

Not only do their journeys intersect but they continue to lead on a parallel path revealing unexpected secrets. Barbara Freethy has really done it this time. A most intriguing storyline with multiple facets and secrets to be revealed. Add in a bit of danger and intrigue and this author has another 5 star hit on her hands.

Wow, the 8th installment of this fast paced series. As always Barbara Freethy makes this newest addition an exciting game of who-done-it. Enjoyable from the first to the predictable end. Add this to your TBR list.

This book is just another example of why Barbara Freethy is one of my favorite authors! If you enjoy romantic suspense, then you’ll absolutely love this book. The twists and turns that Jax and Maya face as they unravel the mystery of a spy ring and her grandmothers death kept me on the edge of my seat! Jax is an undercover FBI agent working as a bartender in a Russian club called the Firebird and Maya dreams of being a movie producer and thinks the story of her grandmothers death could be her big break. Maya thinks she can get the answers she’s looking for at the Firebird. While they both have different agendas, their paths seem to be connected in more ways than one. This book is the eighth installment in the Off the Grid: FBI Series. This book can be read as a standalone.

A new hotspot club is called Firebird, and looking for a bartender, who speaks Russian..Jax does, and soon found there was a connection between the dealership and the club. Maya reading the journals, now wanting answers, for herself and her aging grandfather. Of her grandmother a famous actress was it suicide. Maya wanting answers is at the club, pictures of her grandmothers on the wall, the second husband was here and she wanted to talk with him. Goal to make a movie of her grandmother’s short life. Maya is strong and fearless and a beauty, Jax notices, but needs no distraction, a good plot, with intrigue and romance. It flows to the end, and one enjoyed of how it ends.
