Every book in this series has been written expertly. The twists and turns gave me whiplash (in a good way). Every time I thought I had it figured out, the story made a quick left and I had to reevaluate my thinking. Highly recommend this entire series and it really helps if you read them in order. I especially appreciate the price point.

I am almost finished with this new book in this series and felt compelled to write a review, which I seldom do. I absolutely love this series, the characters, and Lisa Regan as the writer ( who I found by accident some years ago). Thank the stars- love good books and authors. In fact, the previous reviewer ( Mlawyer112) said just about everything I was going to say and better than I could have. However I have read the series in order which I like to do when possible. I feel like I have been on Josie's journey with her. This series is a perfect combination of my favorite things in books, part mystery and thriller with some love story. The characters are well developed and you want to know all about their lives. I too hope Lisa will continue writing more about Josie, her family and friends and town and cases. The series is great, one of my favorites and yay for the strong woman central character. If anyone is looking for the most entertaining and enjoyable reading material this series and author cannot be missed. I too will give my heartfelt rating of 💕💕💕💕💕 for all.

My Review: What can I say Lisa Regan does it again. I just love the Josie Quinn series and hope there are many more to come. I have not read all the books in the series yet and have not read them in order. Even though this is a series it does not have to be read like that. I understood what was going on even though I have not read them all. This book was about Josie trying to figure out who killed someone from her past that made her teenage years miserable. She had to dig deep inside herself to remember what happened that far back. Who can she trust? Can she trust her instincts to find the real killer? Is the killer someone close to her that she knows and loves? Or is the killer someone that no one even thought of? You find all the answers and much more by the end of the book. I want to start off by saying that I love this series and the way Lisa Regan portrays Josie Quinn. Josie to me is brave, fearless and gets the job done. She knows just what to do and say to get her perp. I loved the way this book was written. Since I haven’t read all the books and not in order I got to see more of her past and what she was like in her teenage years in this book. Some of the chapters went back and forth from past to present and I loved that. I always love a good back story and that is what Josie has. I also loved the roller coaster of an ending. I didn’t expect that twist in the end. I knew that something was off the whole entire book but I didn’t know that is was going to be a whopper of an ending. I would’ve never guessed it in a million years. Kudos to Lisa Regan for that ending. I can’t wait to read more in this series. Between the plot, characters and all the twists in this book it made it an easy and fast read. I would definitely recommend it and happily give it 5 Hearts❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
