There are three full length stories here and all of them are right on with enemies to lovers. Mistakes are made and these three alpha men will never be the same. Loved the interactions between the characters and the unexpected surprises that showed up throughout the book. Highly recommend this collection.

  • A Fine Line Between Hate and Love

This is a compilation of three stories of people whose hatred for one another drives them to find forgiveness and eventually love for one another. Savage Love: Carter and Tori have known each other since childhood, Carter being best friends with Tori’s brother Logan. Carter finds great fun in tormenting Tori every chance he gets, even though Tori has secretly been in love with Carter all her life. He hurts her so many times that she learns to hate him. Ten years later, Tori is living in California with her sister, Amber and her niece, Sailor. As they both compete for a PR position to save the career goal of an old classmate, Carter gets Victoria fired from her job. She supports her sister and niece, and is devastated when she loses the best job she has ever held. They both end up getting the job to save Lily’s career, and must learn to work together. However, Lily is Carter’s old high school lover, and things get very complicated. Not Sorry: Sean is asked by his former heartthrob, Jamie, to come help run her business while she is struggling with a difficult pregnancy. Her assistant, Olive, meets him at the airport, and her appearance is a shock to the always immaculately dressed Sean. Her clothes don’t match and her hair is frizzy and wind blown. Sean is exceedingly rude to Olive, but she puts on a good face until she can be rid of him. She leans in to kiss him on the cheek, European style, but misses and kisses his lips, then spills her coffee in him. He makes a joke about her bumbling ineptitude in front of her coworkers, and Olive decides she hates the man! Sean is hoping to win Jamie’s heart once again, but she is in love with the father of her child and let’s Sean know that he is there only to run her company. She further informs him that Olive is her right hand employee, the smartest woman she knows, and he can put any thoughts of firing her to rest right now, because she will be reporting to Jamie. When a management position opens up, Olive submits her resume to Sean, and he can’t help but chuckle at her introductory letter. What follows is a journey that will make you laugh, cry, and sing for joy! Finding Perfect: Mila is a woman who thrives on the normal, but today is the five year anniversary of a traumatic event, and she just needs to drive the mountains of Denver to relieve her stress. A motorcyclist is riding her butt the entire time, and when Mila reaches her destination and pulls off the highway, Mr. Motorcycle Man pulls in and parks behind her Suburu. As Mila tells the man that he can’t block her car, he laughs and just starts jogging away from her. Not dressed for hiking, Mila decides she will just do a little hiking anyway in hopes that when she returns, the tattooed biker will be long gone. Mila’s thoughts focus on the fact that she will be graduating college after this semester, and hopes to find a job with the same hospital where she is doing her clinicals. After working for a few years, maybe she will find time to meet someone who is husband-worthy. After reaching the summit, she rests for a while before heading back down the mountain. Her sneakers have no tread and she ends up spraining her ankle during her descent. Along comes Mr. Dark, Dimpled, Tattooed, Muscleman to the rescue, offering Mila help getting back down the mountain, but she absolutely refuses his offer.....until she realizes that she can’t possibly make it down on her own. She reluctantly accepts his offer, but he makes it known that she owes him. He introduces himself as Ace Knight. He helps her to her car, then offers to take her to the hospital. She refuses, so he offers to take her to dinner. In her frustration, Mila shifts into reverse and backs out as quickly as she can.....and runs over Ace’s motorcycle. The war has just begun! Because this is one of my very favorite authors, I was so glad to review this box set of three, and it absolutely didn’t disappoint me. All of the stories are enemy to lovers themed. I enjoyed all of the reads and was amused by Sean’s occupation in “Not Sorry.” However, my favorite read was “Finding Perfect” because two perfectly broken people, Mila and Knight, make themselves heal and be whole again. All of the stories are great reads! I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.
  • Hate me or love me

I love the way this author writes an angsty romance but I hate her cliffys. When I saw this boxed set of three standalones I couldn’t clic fast enough! Savage Love-4 1/2 Stars Carter was more than awful to Victoria in this enemies to lovers romance. Not frenemies at all as Victoria was subjected to Carter’s purposeful cruelty all her life. I couldn’t really understand how her supposedly loving brother allowed his best friend’s treatment of his younger sister. I did love the way they finally came together which created hot hot hot scenes, but it pained my heart the way Victoria was usually the loser in all of their encounters. She had to work with him and his former lover while he flirted in front of her. It didn’t help that Lily turned out to be nasty, manipulative, and conniving. Although it all came together at the end, Carter left an ugh feeling in my heart for Victoria. 3 1/2 Quirky Odd Romance Stars! I never really knew what to make of Olive with the odd way she was described in this romance. Sean described her as a mess, and his first impression of her was not attraction. In fact, he was in love with her boss Jamie who was pregnant by another man. His backstory and big reveal of his job also linked him with Jamie intimately, and I felt Olive’s feelings for Sean was off balanced. As for Olive, was she the glue that held Jamie’s business together? And if so, why did it seem like everyone took advantage of her? The relationships were all over the place. Sean who initially loved Jamie. Jamie who got pregnant by her whirlwind relationship with her new boyfriend, but broke up with him shortly after finding out she was pregnant. Olive and her boyfriend who treated her badly and for the weird way she found out about his sister, and finally Olive and Sean with his job and past involvement with his job. I did like when Olive and Sean got together, but their over the top escapades were more tacky than sexy. Finding Perfect-4 Stars While there were parts of this story that I loved as it totally captivated me, there were also parts of it that were unbelievable and painful. Without divulging any spoilers, suffice it to say that this was filled with unexpected if a bit unbelievable twists and turns that hurt my heart in many ways. Hate Me or Love Me (ARC) by Ella Miles: really good stories! *****Savage Love #1: loved it! Some LOL funny, some snark, heat index off the charts, and “savage love”. A good story of the fine line between love and hate. *****Not Sorry #2: I loved this story! This is a funny, sexy story with lots of chemistry and s3x in inappropriate places. The s3x compliment and adds to the storyline without overwhelming it. I loved both Olive (crazy, goofy and funny) and Sean (sexy bad boy with a wicked sense of humor and a big secret). The writing style and storyline were both excellent, and kept me entertained all the way to the HEA. ****Finding Perfect #3: This is a high drama fast paced read, with secrets, painful pasts, and ulterior motives. A lot of (character) intense emotion that ends with a HEA for Mila and Knight. But I hated that Abri - who was so wicked and petty - ended up with everything while avoiding punishment for the legal and moral wrongs that she committed. —PTators I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
