This is book two of the Lies Series and oh my, another really great read in this series. If you haven’t started this series, read previous books regarding all of the characters, not only because it helps explain some things in this book, but because they are beyond great. This author has the ability to write sheer perfection in her characters, storyline, world building, emotions, and leaving you with a feeling of can’t get enough. Langston and Liesel continue in their quest to get to each other’s truth. Another huge cliffhanger at the end of this book. Don’t miss this one! All these 6 books could have been put into 1 book . This story is dragging on and on ..... book 2 was too long and very boring .. keep it to 2-3 books per storyline ... stop dragging this out to make more money ....

Desperate Lies is the second boon in the Lies Series and continues to focus on the turbulant love/hate relationship between Langston and Liesel. The novel undercovers some of the character's past secrets but creates even more new questions. I could not put this book done but it does end in a cliffhanger. Desperate Lies is totally uncensored and completely raw version of a soap opera. Desperate Lies will definitely keep you in suspense. Loved reading the exciting and enthralling second book in the series. Langston allows Liesel to be taken off the island by his friend, Siren. Langston wants revenge on Liesel for something she did in his past, but Liesel has no idea what she did. After Langston steals all of Liesel's money from her bank account, Liesel has to attend a strange party on a yacht. When Langston finds out about it, he and his friends tag along and find out how bizarre and sadistic the party becomes. Read the highly recommended, wonderfully written, full of twists and turns, riveting story engaging the reader from the beginning of the story until the cliffhanger, and leaving the reader full of anticipation for the next story in the series!

You might as well buy the whole set now. Don’t miss this series! It’s amazingly good from the beginning to the end! You start off with action from the beginning of the story to the last of this cliffhanger. I can’t wait for the next book! Omg what these character go through, the hate, respect, almost love, killers and protector. How hard I laughed when Liesel did her First challenged on the boat and we got to read what Langston was thinking! This story has so much twist and turns that it will keeps you guessing was Liesel fiancé really using her to get to the treasure? Ella Miles stories captures you and she doesn’t let you go! A must read!
