Fated Lies is the third book in the Lies series and continues the saga of Langston and Liesel. This fast paced novel has unexpected twists which alters the relationship between the primary characters. More truths are revealed within the storyline. Ella Miles has written a great read with this novel which is my favorite of the series so far. The book does end in a cliffhanger and the series will continue in the next book of the series entitled Cruel Lies. Oh my, just as you get over one “occurrence “ the plot tilts another way. Langston and Liesel were best friends as children, but when he didn’t save her from events beyond her control, a hate/love, truth/lie relationship developed. However, this book shows more honesty between them than ever before. The revelation at the end of the book is draw dropping. The characters are impeccable with an ever changing storyline. What a twist of events in this story! Just when you think you’ve got it figured out, Ella Miles throws not one but two monkey wrenches into the story! This story kept me on the edge of my seat with all the twists and turns it takes. Then there’s a matter of that last twist! I did NOT see that coming!
