4.5 Stars  This is book 2 in The Chandler Brothers series and it features Rick and Kendall.  Their meeting was unusual as is their quick arrangement.  They both think they have it all under control until they don’t.  Don’t forget that their mother, Raina, seems to be quite the manipulator when it comes to seeing her sons settle down.    I love the Chandler brothers and their mom!  The story line is fantastic.  Tremendous character growth for most of the characters.  I can’t wait to visit Yorkshire Falls in the next and final book in The Chandler Brothers series.

This was a cute, easy read with some interesting characters. Both Rick and Kendall have their reasons to avoid relationships. So, they thought that it would be beneficial for both of them to be part of a “fake” couple. It would get Rick’s mother and other single women in town off of his back and Kendall would get help fixing up her aunt’s house to sell. There were some complications on their road to happiness.

I loved rick and Kendall story. The fake relationship that ends up being real. The surprise child (even though it is a sister not baby). I loved Ed rereading this series and in particular this book. Getting to know the chandler brothers is so good. Carly Phillips never disappoints and getting to read the first series I read of hers is great.
