A polished adaptation
By Archeisse
As usual for an LN adaptation, the polish is evident on every scene that was present in the WN. At the same time, the parts that are modified generally flow nicely from the altered circumstances. As I can understand it, the author certainly has gotten better at that part. Lots of developments here, including much foreshadowing. The conversations are also much more leading, especially during the climactic fight.
A notable thing is of course the illustration. Among which, we finally have the Doghead’s looks. Dapper old fellow, that one.
And we have at least one new character, not present in the LN. It made use of existing but unused slot of characters in the WN too, so that’s nice.
The growth of Satou’s isekai enterprise culminates in this volume. And I say it’s much more natural than it was in the WN.
And the birth of Neko Ninja Tama and Doge Samurai Pochi, elaborated upon!
That being said, be prepared for one of the biggest change. That is, the author seems to have moved back an event due to changing circumstances. Said event is the introduction of Satou’s one true love...
