I have been waiting for their finally story and it was so worth the wait and more! The powerful conclusion on their wonderful journey ends like it began, gripping, emotional and empowering. I loved the development of the storyline that kept me at the edge of my seat from start to finish. Wes and Londyn story is what love is all about, fighting for what is right and what you deserve. A definite must read!

I have other books to read but I don't want to leave Atonement behind. I am not ready to move on to another book. I am not read to say goodbye to Wes and Londyn. I don't know how to express how wonderful I feel, how satisfied I am that good rose over evil, that love conquers all, ant that it is never too late to open your eyes and correct wrongs. I will admit that I started reading Atonement and soon realized that in order to get the full effect I wanted to read possession over again first. The first part flowed into the second. My devotion to the story grew. My approval of Wes and Londyn grew. My happiness turned to fear, anger, disgust. Atonement brought out all the emotions. I can't tell you how many times I wanted to climb into the pages and bring justice to those that had wronged Londyn. Thankfully Wes stood his ground. His love did not waiver. Londyn reminded me that different colors make the world beautiful, that there is ugliness in the world, but those are the weak. True loves never leaves your side. True loves doesn't doubt. True love makes for the best happily ever afters. Please excuse me while I go and bask in one of the most beautiful love stories I have ever read. Instead of picking up a new book, I am going to read Atonement again.

5 Stars Atonement by tk leigh is the epic conclusion to the possession duet and oh. My. Goshhh-it was everything I thought it would be! If you haven’t read possession yet you’ll need to before reading this. Ms. Leigh takes you on a journey that is full of emotions-so many emotions that I felt everything the characters felt. She writes a tale about the injustices that so many people face and she does it in such a realistic way. Wes and Londyn were everything! Their love was so powerful and touching. But it was not easy to read in some parts. Not because it wasn’t a beautiful love story and it’s not because it makes you think and feel. It's because it made my heart ache at how cruel the world can be. it is so much more than your typical love story. It changes you in ways you never expect. Wes and Londyn’s journey was not an easy one whatsoever. But love is always more powerful than hate and Ms. Leigh proved it perfectly in this story. Highly recommend reading this book!

The conclusion of Weston and Londyn’s story is a roller coaster and I loved every minute. Atonement has some touchy subjects but leaves you inspired. Can’t wait for Julia’s story! I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
  • An intensely emotional, must read story!

T.K. once again brings readers a story packed with intense emotion and a thought provoking storyline that cannot and should not be ignored. Atonement must be read after Possession as it is a continuation of the first book. Possession left the reader with quite a big cliffhanger and I could not wait to find out how THAT all turned out. This book, along with Possession, deals with some pretty heavy subject matter. It is an inter-racial romance and I commend T.K. for the balance she meticulously maintained of a beautifully budding romance between Wes and Londyn alongside the prejudices and profiling people of color have suffered through for ages, particularly in the South. We saw in book 1 how hesitant Londyn was to enter into a relationship with a white man, particularly one of Weston's pedigree, but the heart will only be denied what it wants for so long, and Wes is a very determined man. So many things occur in Atonement, and I was really glued to the pages, hoping with all my might that Wes and Londyn would be able to overcome all the obstacles constantly thrown in their path. The times when Wes and Londyn were alone and exploring their relationship were written so perfectly, I could feel their every emotion and heard their thoughts in my head. T.K. certainly is a master at writing a wholly encompassing story that not only details their physical relationship, but also delves into the emotional foundation of it that holds all the pieces together. There's some pretty despicable characters that give it their all to ruin what Wes and Londyn have, and I was SO hoping and praying that Karma would take care of them along the way. Wes and Londyn both had a pretty good support system, which really got them through their darkest of times. I loved the underlying thriller/suspense aspect of the story. That's another thing that T.K. writes masterfully! This story is really a tale of rising from the ashes, for both Londyn and Wes, for two totally different reasons. And as I mentioned before, there are several sensitive topics that are addressed in the story and I feel T.K. did it beautifully. This book stirred up a lot of emotions within me, which is a true sign that the author accomplished what they set out to do. I cannot recommend this duet highly enough. And if you haven't already read the Redemption series, which is where we first met Wes, I highly recommend those books as well. Another storyline that is high in emotion and feelings. I am so excited to see that Wes' sister Julia will be getting her own story in the future, she was a very intriguing character in this duet and I know there is much more to her that needs to be explored. And I hope we get to see more of Wes and Londyn when her story gets told.

I am at a loss for words with how much I loved Atonement. T.K. Leigh did a phenomenal job handling the racism that is plaguing our country, especially still here in the south. She had me on an emotional roller coaster of highs and lows. Wes is the man every woman hopes for. He is loving, kind, has unconditional acceptance and is loyal to those who are deserving. I was thrilled to see Londyn and Julia finally take a stand for themselves. It was perfect!! Atonement is a must read! I wish I could give it more than 5 stars!

Beautifully strong and fierce! This powerful story is a force to be reckoned with, it’s tough, raw, eye opening, and more powerful than a category five hurricane. The fight of these characters is amazing, the emotion and raw and honest topics render you speechless while giving you strength to rise above everything and fight.
