Spellbinding! 😉 sorry ‘bout that. But truly captivating - couldn’t stop reading. A stand alone story but with threads of hope for follow up perhaps with a dragon or the underworld or ?
What makes the story rich is that ‘magic is never one sided’, and that the wizard’s First Rule can be a warning to check how we form our beliefs.
