Enjoyed reading couldn’t put down…

I’ve read a lot of romance books, this one rises above the rest. Once you come to realize Dom isn’t the harsh man he presents, it gets really good. Regina is also a surprising character in the best way. The sex scenes are… WOW.

Loved the chemistry from beginning to end

From start to finish this book is amazing!! Dark romance can be hit or miss for me.... but this one is 100% a hit!! There is the perfect amount of dark to get you worked up. Dominic is brooding and dangerous, a total opposite of Regina’s naivety and youth. She will become his wife whether she wants to or not and he will own her but protect her. There is a lot of side story explaining background of the family and other characters but it’s done in a way that adds to the story instead of feeling separate. The heat level in this book is just what it needs too. It doesn’t have too many details from before they are together which I like. The details are about Dom and Regina and every scene is awesome. This is the story of Dominic and Regina which is the first book in The Sabatini Family Series. The book is a mafia story which has action, suspense, drama, and steamy romance. The characters have strong personalities which creates tension in the plot. The next book in the series is entitled His: Tony. I liked the darkness of this story which was palpable throughout the story. His character felt a bit larger than life and I felt his dominant, threatening nature as I read this book. I felt her fear, her pain and her confusion. It was a fast paced story with plenty of suspense, danger and incredible love built from the darkness. 4 1/2 Stars This one had all the feels of what I like in a Mafia Romance. Dominic was the perfect alpha hero who started out as a cold blooded ruthless womanizing mobster and ended up falling hard for mafia princess, Regina. Dark with tight knit loyalty woven into the plot. I liked the way Dominic was drawn to Regina emotionally which was totally out of character for him. Saving her from her predator boyfriend was the start of a tumultuous yet romantic live story, mafia style. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
