With “Never”, he takes you into an era of modern day intrigue. The settings bounce around from Africa, the US, Asia and Europe. The interweaving plots will keep the reader riveted and amazed.

An amazing read that centers on a crisis involving north and South Korea. North Korea bombs South Korea with a nuclear bomb. America bombs North Korea military bases with nuclear bombs. World War III has now started and civilization as we know it has ceased to exist. A very emotionally involved read and very believable. My highest recommendation!!

Don’t read if you’re looking for a storybook ending.

This book is unfortunately not far fetched. All it takes is one unhinged leader in one country to set off war. And then a series of responses by the rest of the world, all with their reasons, all with their ideals, thinking they are doing the right thing, causes the destruction of us all. Great read. But too easy to imagine to let me sleep at night.

Typical Follett…well developed characters, an intense story, a gut wrenching ending.

A most extraordinary and riveting novel, published in 2021 presaging 2023 events. It is also forewarns geopolitical political crisis fueled by human distrust. Five stars.

A slow start but builds momentum around a terrifyingly possible situation leading to nuclear war.
