Hands down one of my favorite series! I was looking for a good Christmas romance this past Christmas. When I finished it, Finding Faith was “recommended” by Apple Books. I dove straight into it. I’m not a fast reader but I do get immersed and completely obsessed once I’m this invested. I JUST.. only moments ago.. finished the final book of the series. And I still want more of all these characters! The common strokes keep it familiar while the unique differences keep it fascinating and interesting. These honestly inspire me (especially after just finishing Anica’s story) to want to write myself!

First time reading this author. I always read reviews before I read a book to give me an idea of what I am thinking about reading. They were five star reviews. I am sorry to say I didn’t find it a five star book. I will say it was a clean book which I always appreciate. No bad language, no explicit sex.

I love how the characters in this series became family to each other. And while it is a billionaire series the characters are good people. The books are inspirational. I like how both Anica and Ethan had to really evaluate their lives. They had to determine the kind of people they wanted to become. They had to recognize their own value and place in the world. Their happiness couldn’t be gained by another persons love alone.

In Baker’s Finding Home series, various characters are introduced along the way. Neither Anica nor Ethan grabbed my attention very much in earlier books as I was more focused on the main characters. What a wonderful surprise awaited me as I read Finding Peace. Watching these two characters find their way to each other and peace was a wonderful and fulfilling journey.

I loved Anica and Ethan! This story had so much emotional depth and great chemistry! It was so funny at times to balance out the more serious moments. The characters were so real that I could feel and understand their struggles. I highly recommend!

What do you do when you lose everything that gives your life meaning? Anica was a best-selling author and had a loving sister and handsome, successful boyfriend. When she lost all three of these, she found herself asking who she really was, and what her purpose was. Lizzie had told her before dying that Anica’s words could change the world. But not if no agent would accept them. Anica’s niece and nephew think she’s the most amazing person ever. But no adult seems to agree, and she can’t even land a waitressing job. That just solidifies her opinion that she’s a loser, doomed to a life of mediocrity at best. When she meets Ethan she quickly realizes that he’s not “the one.” They have only one thing in common: they’re both single. A setup first date lasts only five minutes. But somehow, as their paths continue to cross, they begin to build a friendship. Surrounded by “perfect” couples, they find solidarity in their shared sense of failure and brokenness. And just maybe…they can find healing together as well, if they can work through the pain of their pasts. This book may be the deepest, most heartfelt of the set. Anica’s despair, frustration, and joy are so relatable, so realistic. Watching both her and Ethan develop a sense of self-worth and an understanding of what they want from life, as well as letting go of what they used to think was important, is a beautiful, inspiring journey. Finding Peace is not only a fun, uplifting read but leaves the reader with hope that this journey to fulfillment may be possible for them, too.
