As usual, this volume takes on an arc of the WN and expands on it. Satou’s meeting with the group of reincarnated people is very much more polished than it was, even the incident leading up to said meeting has its loose ends (namely Satou’s tangential and really weak excuse) has been basically redone. A refreshing addition would be Satou showing off in front of audience. Nothing flashy, but in the WN it seemed as though people of the Labyrinth City take for granted that he’s strong despite never really seeing up close any comparison between him and Liza, the face of the party in terms of personal strength. Then, here we have them spar with onlookers present. Mostly just worldbuilding, but in my opinion it’s very welcome. And worldbuilding. As expected, the meeting with reincarnators is one of the best situation for that. As a result, that’s basically most of what this volume is, but for this, I think we can expect a lot more focus on the Kingdom Meeting arc. The author doesn’t disappoint. I’m waiting with bated breath for the next volume.
