This a love story of opposites attract. But are they opposites really? Oh and there's a foul mouthed parrot. Really all the ingredients of a perfect romance. You add in royalty and it puts it over the top. Lee Savino gets me laughing so much throughout this book. The dialogue especially is epic. Well worth a read or two. I received a free copy of this book via Cherrylily ARCs and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Funny. Like how the story started off. Being a housesitter and supposedly watching a bird. Somehow the bird getting out and going to the neighbors house and trying to stop it from flying off was hysterical. The events that the Duke and his fake fiancé which is funny and how they played off each other. A good read, so Abe to guess the outcome but no cliffhanger.. From the start this book had me laughing. I just love the wit and humor Frankie possessed. An who can forget Benny and his brooding sexiness. This book was a very short read but good nonetheless. I just wish the Epilogue went into more depth of Frankie and Benny. But I am excited to read on about the terrible Little brother Franz. Great read if your looking for something humorous, steamy and short.

Our main character, Benedict, Duke of New Arcadia, is in desperate need of a PR makeover and having a fiancée is part of the plan. With some urging (and payment), Frankie reluctantly agrees to play the role of his fake fiancée under certain rigid conditions, that he will keep the engagement fake and keep his hands to himself. (That pretty much guarantees that those conditions won’t be met.) Be ready for laughter, fun, and banter as these two try to get this right with hilarious consequences. Grab your copy and enjoy!
  • A parrot brought them together

The parrot brought them together. At first Benedict seemed snobby, but he had layers. I should have realized from the first minute Daniel (who is awesome) wouldn’t have continued working for him if he was such a horrible person. I’m so glad that circumstances were such that Frankie had to play a part in the beginning, otherwise they never would have realized how perfect they are for each other. It’s such a fun, funny, and sweet book.

Frankie & Benedict’s story is absolutely precious! It’s filled with snarky banter, steamy tension, and an engaging storyline, with a not so subtle Cinderella undercurrent. It’s a lighthearted reading experience with a guaranteed HEA. If you’re looking for a read that is well written and quickly consumable, give Royally Fake Fiancé by Lee Savino a chance! Intriguing storyline with some hilarious characters that have attitude, smart and sassy. Loved the many hidden secrets, which keeps this book so interesting and fast paced. Thought that Benedict and Frankie were a perfect match as they brought out the best in each other. I was definitely cheering for Benedict’s final decision, as he realizes just what makes him happy. A bit surprised with the ending, but now looking forward to the next in the series, since such a promising tidbit was given to wet my next reading fix. I am voluntarily leaving a review for this book that I received free.

I really enjoyed this book and it’s characters but the ending is what really put this at a five star read for me. The use of “Much Ado About Nothing” was unique and I loved the way it was incorporated. This book was also a lot of fun to read. Frankie is a sassy and hilarious character!! She’s everything the uptight Duke needs to relax a little and enjoy life. After ending up in the Duke’s home, naked, and chasing down a runaway parrot, Frankie is given the opportunity to have college paid for in exchange for pretending to be the Duke’s fiancée. He’s trying to avoid scandal to be named successor to the queen. Frankie isn’t quite what he expected but he finds himself happier than he’s ever been. When secrets from Frankie’s past cause scandal that Benedict was looking to avoid, what path will he chose? This book is definitely a must read! Royally Fake Fiancé is a fun rom-com with a dutiful hero and a free spirited heroine. The meet-cute is hilarious. The fake fiancé trope is tried and true but this one has a few plot twists along the way. There are a few other tropes such as grumpy-sunshine, rich boy-poor girl, and ugly duckling-swan. They are all done well. The hero’s grand gesture is very sweet! Elvis the parrot steals the show. An enjoyable read!
