This series has so much potential and it kills me to see the author squander it. The first several books we watched as things happened around ayonokoji kun and he did nothing only at the end to be told he did some things off screen that make him sound intriguing or cool. last book the ending finally had him doing something with his abilities and i was exciting for the future of this series as he now was going to show what he is capable of…..and now this book….he literally does nothing the entire time we just watch things unfold around him and he doesnt even do the off screen stuff like the first books. he just walks away saying basically what happened happened. to the author i dont know whether you dont know how to write this charecter correctly or you dont realize how frustrating it is to watch such an interesting charecter do nothing, but please urtilize his abilities more. i know he’s trying to hide his abilities, but i think 8 books of that is enough. the only reason this is 3 stars is that the side charecters are at least fun and enjoyable.
