The Eagle symbolizes Greatness. Unlike other birds, it is capable of mounting up to unbelievable heights, far above the mountains. While most birds go into hiding when there is a storm, the eagle delights in the stormy winds, accompanied by lightening and thunder. In fact, the eagle rides on the storm, using air currents, which destroy things on the ground, to carry itself to heights invisible to the human eye. But the eagle was not born that way. Every eagle was born an eaglet – weak, fearful and totally dependent on the mother eagle; but it learnt to soar.
By redemption, every child of God is translated into God’s Eagle Family. However, it is not enough to say that one belongs to a family; one must manifest the innate qualities of that family to validate his membership. In the same vein, God, the Father Eagle, has placed his nature in you; but until you discover and operate in that realm, you may not live up to your full potentials.
