Cole thought he was to be making another dull train trip back home to Bear Grass Springs, Montana from Chicago via Minneapolis. However, fate had a different path. Almost immediately, the widow, Wilhelmina Lane arrived collapsing in the seat next to him. The porter came along and chastised her for being in the wrong seat but Cole stepped in and offered to pay for the upgrade to her seat. He was immediately attracted to her and welcomed the company distracting him from boredom. He couldn’t get enough of her. Their attraction was immediate. Unfortunately, an accident separated them along with many misunderstandings. I found it refreshing that we read about the family advising them to work it out. Great advice! I loved the family support around them. It almost makes me jealous. And again, Ms Flightner writes a wonderful HEA and no cliffhanger. Yay!
