Description

#1 New York Times Bestseller

Peter Schweizer says that, in a quarter-century as an investigative journalist, this is the scariest investigation he has ever conducted.

That the Chinese government seeks to infiltrate American institutions is hardly surprising. What is wholly new, however, are the number of American elites who are eager to help the Chinese dictatorship in its quest for global hegemony.

Presidential families, Silicon Valley gurus, Wall Street high rollers, Ivy League universities, even professional athletes—all willing to sacrifice American strength and security on the altar of personal enrichment.

In Red-Handed, six-time New York Times bestselling investigator Peter Schweizer presents his most alarming findings to date by revealing the secret deals wealthy Americans have cut to help China build its military, technological, and economic might. Equally as astonishing, many of these elites quietly believe the Chinese dictatorial regime is superior to American democracy.

Schweizer and his team of forensic investigators spent over a year scouring a massive trove of global corporate records and legal filings to expose the hidden transactions China’s enablers hoped would never see the light of day. And as Schweizer’s past bombshells like Profiles in Corruption, Secret Empires, and Clinton Cash all made clear, there are bad actors on both ends of the political spectrum.

Exhaustively researched, crisply told, and chilling, Red-Handed will expose the nexus of power between the Chinese government and the American elites who do its bidding.

I bought this book after seeing Peter Switzer on Huckabee. I paid for it and it downloaded but I cannot find it to read it! Waste of my money!
  • I read halfway and started asking questions like “Who Cares” and “The US does the same”

I read through the book and honestly only had the mental fortitude to get halfway. I appreciate the research the author put in and identifying all of these ties to China in many ways. However the real issue at hand that I find is, the US does the exact same things. In addition, China has a unique global opportunity to produce products at very low costs (often unethically low) and in a globalist society, why would that not be pursued? Take the automotive industry for example… the US will bring raw materials from other countries, and produce “American made” vehicles. That iron ore doesn’t necessarily come from China, but other supplied parts come from Mexico, China, Taiwan, Malaysia, and so on. Should we only allow those to be made in the US? Should the North American executives of groups such as Volkswagen or Mercedes not have a relationship (of some kind) with the US governing bodies such as NHTSA? This certainly can result in corruption, but I’m not sure the problem is US executives like Musk doing this in China, but that government entities globally entice these people as chess pawns for their grander plan. Regardless, I saw no substance in this work other than paranoia of another country in our globalist society.
  • Shocking and Very Informative

Very informative, couldn’t put this book down until finished! Our leaders surely know of this bribery and corruption and yet nothing is being done about it. It’s unbelievable that we can have the leader of our country and members of congress giving American information regarding intelligence, technology, scientific and all other info to high level CCP members. This is treasonous! Our security is gone! These people need to be jailed. It’s easy to see why the United States is in such bad shape.
  • Awesome Book!

Very good book but, I wish it went further with the amount corruption in our government, universities and tech elite that profit from China.

I bought this book, downloaded it, then to my disgust, it will not open. Cannot read it … not a single word. I know it is a great book, so buy it. Just don’t buy it from Apple. This amounts to censorship.
