Throughout the series, Caleb mostly existed on the edges of the Stockton family. They clearly loved him and missed him but never gave up on reuniting with him. So what does Caleb do when we comes to with no memory in the aftermath of an explosion? With a baby he doesn’t remember? Handed to him by a man he doesn’t remember? He disappears. His instincts are there and he protects that baby while going into hiding until he can figure out what’s going on. Simple, right? Of course not. Nope…he finds what he thinks is an abandoned cabin and soon after is found by Jenna and Gracie. Jenna and Gracie take on their 2 surprise visitors and make it their mission to help him [after rescuing a puppy, of course]. They soon link up with a connection to the Stockton family and Caleb finally goes home. He just doesn’t know why he left or where he went. The family comes together to protect Caleb and the baby and of course, we get our happily ever after. Well done, Stephanie!

A Real Cowboy Always Comes Home, the final story in the Wyoming Rebels series by Stephanie Rowe, is rife with action, suspense, thrills, and romance…also laced with wry humor and a witty dialog, the story nearly turns the pages by itself. I was instantly captivated by Caleb and Jenna’s story, from the devastation of the first chapter, through all the twists and turns that the couple, along with Gracie, Zach, and Simba took during their journey towards their much deserved HEA. Ms Rowe out did herself with the premise in this couple’s story, a mystery within a mystery, within a dangerous cat and mouse lethal game of vengeance. Through it all, the foundation of family was the guiding principle that drove the principle characters, as well as the remaining fractured Stockton family. As an ending to one of the most riveting series I’ve read, this author captured the essence of all the entire family and provided the perfect closure that has emotionally captured a piece of my heart. This ARC book was complimentary, I am voluntarily providing my honest review.

A Real Cowboy Always Comes Home by Stephanie Rowe Book 10, final book of the Wyoming Rebels series. Contemporary western romance. Best read as part of the series but can stand as a romance by itself. Brothers from the prior books appear in this conclusion. Caleb, the last missing brother of the nine (plus one sister) is finally home though he doesn’t remember his family or even his life. Chase doesn’t know who is chasing him and baby Zack but he is determined to keep everyone safe. Emotional and heartwarming. All 10 books have caused tears of emotions and this final one ties them all up in weddings, babies and family. “They were meant to be his. He was meant to be theirs. He just knew it, deep in his gut.” Excerpt From A Real Cowboy Always Comes Home by Stephanie Rowe

First thing first…I’m so glad that Caleb, the last Stockton brother, has come home and finally gotten his story! I’ve loved this series and was wondering all along where the long lost sibling had disappeared to. I will say, though, that I wish his story didn’t seem as rushed as I felt it was. All the action, and the insta-love, takes place in a very short amount of time. And while normally this might not be an issue for me, I think it kept me from fully embracing Caleb and Jenna as a couple. Don’t get me wrong, I liked Jenna and her daughter Gracie. But just two years out from losing her husband/father, this mother/daughter pair seems awfully anxious to claim this new guy as their own. Especially since he can’t remember who…or what…he is. I don’t want to go into more detail and ruin the story for others. I enjoyed the book, I enjoyed the characters…omg, Chase broke my heart!! I just wanted something more.

I wasn’t sure how I would like this book as I normally do not enjoy amnesia or memory loss themes but I thoroughly enjoyed this book! Even though this is the final book in the series, you do not need to have read the other ones to follow along and enjoy it. The suspense, loyalty, determination, and passion provide the perfect blend to make this a page-turning book that is hard to put down. I will definitely be going back and reading the previous books!
