Part of the Bosch Universe
By Scott_A_Miller
4 Stars. The ending helped this one to 4 stars. It was a little slow, plodding and methodical up until the last 8-10 chapters. Connelly pulled it out though.
The mystery was a little too easy, although I didn’t figure it out TOO soon. The story was kind of cool including three Bosch Universe leads. It’s the Universe that is excellent. This one just missed by a smidge.
All books so far have been five. I ranked this one four.

This book was so hard to put down. It was so stinkin good and kept me wanting more. I have not had the time to read in years and finally chose this one to start again, such a good start and reminder of why I love to read.
Another good Bosch novel.

The story in this book took a little longer than most to get started, but, as always, when it got going the book couldn’t be put down.
Good read.

frustrating

After I read a couple of chapters, I had to check to make sure that this was still Harry Bosch series. In this book, he's only a secondary character and the main one is McCaleb. It's also very frustrating to read what other characters thought of Harry Bosch because they were wrong. We knew about Bosch's history and cases from previous books so it's frustrating to read the wrong conclusios from these new characters.
