Amazing read couldn't put it down. Played the game first. Really wish I read the book then played it. The book kept me engaged the whole time and I have ADD. I have the attention span of a gnat. So that's a major plus! I know who ever decides to pick up and read this book they won't be disappointed. I hope there is another book.... J

I played the game and read the book, the ending of the game was confusing but the book really sums up the story. the end of the book still leaves you thinking

As a huge fan of the game I set out to read the novelization in the hope of learning a bit more about the story and it's many wonderful characters. It did not disappoint. Not surprisingly the game translates very well into the novel format and manages to provide more detailed explanations of several key plot points. Its a fantastic read and I sincerely loved it and recommend it. Hopefully Remedy Games will be given the opportunity to make Alan Wake 2 materialize sooner rather than later and wrap up this great story.

Its well written, but apparently theres a few differences between the game and book, but that's to be expected.
