The worlds of celebrity and sports are brilliantly dissected and turned upside down in the debut thriller from the bestselling author and creator of the hit Netflix drama The Stranger.

Theirs was a marriage made in tabloid heaven, but no sooner had supermodel Laura Ayars and Celtics star David Baskin said “I do” than tragedy struck. While honeymooning on Australia’s Great Barrier Reef, David went out for a swim—and never returned.

Now widowed and grieving, Laura has a thousand questions and no answers. Her search for the truth will draw her into a web of lies and deception that stretches back thirty years—while on the court at Boston Garden, a rookie phenom makes his spectacular debut...

This book is.... Not the reads like a romance novel. I really like Coben - this isn't typical. Find another book.

I love the Myron Bolitar series but the person who read this book was awful. The voices were terrible and not true to the characters personalities at all. I should have read this rather than purchasing it in audio form.

Harlan has a mind for suspense. I've read ALL of his books. Don't pay attention to other reviewers that didn't like this book Just ask them to read their books. Harlan is talented. I wish my first book would be this good.

In the introduction, Coben says this is his very first novel which had not been published until recently - couldn't tell it by me, it was excellent as are all his stories. It did drag in places, but his unique style was evident even back then, like when there were no cells phones...LOL. Worth every penny. ALL HAIL HARLAN!

Only one problem. He never explained the body that was supposed to be David.
