Description

#1 New York Times and #1 Wall Street Journal bestselling author Brad Thor brings his darkest and most intriguing thriller yet—a terrifying story of espionage and betrayal—brilliantly paced with superb nonstop action.

Born in the shadows and kept from heads of state, there are some missions so deadly, so sensitive, that they simply don’t exist. When one such mission goes horribly wrong, a wave of dramatic terrorist attacks is set in motion. Their goal: the complete and total collapse of the United States.

With the CIA’s intelligence abilities hobbled, former Navy SEAL Team Six member turned covert counterterrorism operative Scot Harvath launches an audacious plan to infiltrate the terrorists’ network and prevent one of the biggest threats the United States has ever faced.

Simultaneously, a foreign wet work team has been sent to California. Their target: one of Hollywood’s most famous filmmakers. While working on a secret documentary project, movie producer Larry Salomon has unknowingly exposed one of the world’s wealthiest and most politically connected powerbrokers—a man with a radical anti-American agenda poised to plunge the nation into deadly, irreversible chaos.

As the plots rocket to their pulse-pounding conclusion and the identities of the perpetrators are laid stunningly bare, Harvath will be left with only one means to save America. Unable to trust anyone, he will be forced to go Full Black.

Intense and frighteningly realistic, Full Black is hands down Brad Thor’s most riveting thriller to date.

  • Cliff hanger!

Story started out really good and I was immediately intrigued, then it got really slow towards the middle of it when Chase was onsite with the Uppsala situation.it was good, but didn’t need to be that long. I had to put it down for a bit because of 5is. But the ending was a classic Thor cliffhanger! I love when it ends that way. Great storyline and very interesting! Well done Mr. Thor!
  • The passage of time has made this book old and tired

Aside from the clunky writing, which is often meandering and repetitive, the author has a villain, who today, would be a hero. The book fails the test of time. Why is James Standing a bad person? According to the book, it's because he wants to fight AIDS in Africa. It's also because he wants an alternative currency. Well, we know what happened with AIDS because people like Thor refused to recognize the need to fight it. And today, of course, Bitcoins are the currency of choice for a lot of very important players in the business world. The book is already badly dated. And, Thor needs to learn that you never write MYRIAD OF. It's simply MYRIAD. This is because the use of myriad means the OF is understood.

This isn't a book with a story line, it's a political manifesto. I have LOVED the Harvath series, but I had to stop reading this one a quarter through. No story here - just grandstanding. I'm sorry Mr. Thor - I'm done.

Great book but the author goes a bit overboard with the economic critiques. I understand where his sympathies lie, but not everything on the right is good and holy while the left is the source of all evil in the world. The evil lefty billionaire (i.e. George Soros) is good for this plot but the real life actions of the Koch brothers (and other conservative oligarchs) and their efforts to affect our society seems to merit consideration in some metaphorical form as well. The book came out in an election year so clearly Brad was trying to make a point. I know conservatives think they have a monopoly on patriotism, but many progressives are equally as passionate in their love for this country.

From the get go, this book is fast paced and action packed. This was my first book from Brad Thor and got me hooked. Have read the latest book, Black List and now working on the previously released books. Great storyline...

Brad Thor is simply the best. Have read everything he has written and enjoyed every word. It's a win-win because I enjoy the novels and am being educated at the same time. I could not quite understand the last page, however, maybe someone can explain it to me. Giuseppe Santaniello, Brig Gen, USAF, Ret

It's pretty good and I really enjoy the fact that this book makes you think about real life. Not just mindless story reading. I just kinda don't like the long tangents.

Loved the book, and how it ties with current events. So much of what is in this book could or is happening now. Keep up the great work Brad.
