Because a young blond schoolteacher is murdered—and now Billy has another note. And another deadline. This time he knows it’s no joke. He’s racing a killer faster than evil itself. And Billy must accept his terrifying challenge: The choice is yours.

Another excellent thriller by Dean Koontz. His writing style flowed flawlessly and his twists and turns kept me spellbound. This is not a horror novel that keeps you under the covers at night; it’s a psychological journey that keeps you traveling through the pages all night to find where the road ends. I definitely recommend Velocity to fans who enjoy the journey.

I couldn't put it down! So scary I had all the lights on and found myself double-checking windows and doors! If you enjoy books that creep you out, this is the book for you!

Very first Dean Koontz book, I've read. 7 Koontz books later, it is not my favorite, but I'll be damned if it isn't the fastest paced book I've ever read. To the person that said Intensity is faster, you're crazy. The flashbacks in that book slowed it down, and it had one of the longest intros before action started happening. That being said, it was still fast but Velocity was faster.

I was already a committed Koontz fan when I purchased this book. But it rose quickly to the top of the list for me. Truly couldn't stop reading. Very intricate and deliciously gruesome.

Book is very slow at times. Does keep you guessing til the end but sometimes I had to just put it down for a few days!! Intensity was way better!!!

I LOVED this book. Genuinely creepy at times, so full of action and suspense, and keeps you trying to figure out the killer until the very end.

This book is phenomenal. It moves at a great pace and has twists and turns. It is a roller coaster ride of great vocabulary and solid characters that you really get attached to in the beginning all the way into the last sentence. Amazing book. Can't be beat for the price. You won't regret it! :D
  • You never waste a cent with Koontz.

Hands down, you can't go wrong reading a book by ol' Dean Koontz. Velocity is no exception. This was my first iBook. I didn't think I could get into the story while reading it on my small iPod touch screen, but it proved to be pleasant. The story itself is terrific. Buy it. It's worth it. And of course, enjoy. Velocity is a treat.
