Child seems to rely on early false assumptions by Reacher to drive a long red herring until Reacher has an epiphany late in the books. Painfully obvious in this one.

Typical JR story. Nonstop action. Great characters. Formulaic perhaps, but what a formula.

Excellent, twisting plot that leaves you guessing

Always had Reacher’s analytic brain focused on details and probabilities. Sympathetic victims and horrific villains all find just rewards. And Reacher disappears into the shadows.

The action never stops. Jack Reacher is a great character.

Tight plot

This book has the most innovative plot of all Reacher books. I have read it three times and back for the 4th. Characters you love to love and love to hate. Hair raising til the smashing end game. My 2 favorites are this and Gone Tomorrow!
