Loved it, much better than Archangels Kiss. Couldn't put it down.

I was tad anxious at first when I discovered this book would be Dmitri's story but I decided to relax and read on. I was pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed this book. I came to appreciate Dmitri both as a mortal and as a vampire. The main story is that both protagonist have a shared past that they are not aware of. This is for me was made plausible but may be a sticking point for others. This is not a stand-alone novel you must have read the other three previous books in the series to enjoy this one. There are two other plots that allow for interaction with previous characters such as Illium, Ash, Sorrow, Venom and of course the series central characters Elena and Raphael. I couldn't put this book down and it made be realize just how much I've enjoyed the entire series. I wholly recommend this book as well as the other in the series. I look forward to the next book in the series.

Another great book by one of my favorite authors! If u love sensual writing with romance, vampires, angles, adventure, revenge, and strong women, this book is for you. It is great as a stand alone book, however I suggest that if u enjoy this book give all the books in the series a try. Amazing writing style with sensual experiences everywhere. She is able to really fill out her characters and their world with the most amazing sensual descriptions. She brings the reader into her world (and puts them in the mood) in a way no other author can. Be prepared for a overload to the senses and heart in Archangel's Blade.

Love this whole series. A little disappointed in this book. Not quite as good... But still a great book.
