I've never made anything with yarn, so I'm a true crochet beginner. I found this crochet book at a local craft store and it has been indispensable. It's very easy to read and all the must-know basics are covered in each chapter. Great visuals, and a variety of stitch methods to use until you find your favorite. If I could have wanted anything more for this outstanding crochet tutorial for beginners, it would have been a few more pictures showing one complete stitch pattern for each one covered. The text explains it all, but it would have helped to see a visual of each new pattern from first step to last in a single round or row.
