I'm hooked!

I love Kimberla Lawson-Roby's as an author. I recently realized I've been reading her books for over 15 years. Wow!!! I hate I missed her book signing in Milwaukee, WI in June while I was visiting. Keep up the great work!!!

OMG this book was so good. She's a great author. It will keep you kn your toes to see what's going to happen next. This is a must read.

Excellent! The story was gripping and it kept my attention. I wish she would have demonstrated Charlotte and Curtis passionate relationship more. Not just sex for sex sake, but show how good black love really can be.

I simply love this book. Although the couple and their family has gone through alot, their Faith and the prayers from so many helped them to find their way. Great book!!!!

I rarely have time to read, with my working in the school system, being married and having two children. But this holiday season I wanted to do something different. I started with Be Careful What You Pray for and couldn't put it down, not even for 5 min. Then I moved on to Love, Honor and Betray! I knew then that I needed to stop otherwise I wasn't going to get anything done. But did I stop there???? No, I just had to finish the series with The Reverend's Wife. Again, I didn't have much time for anything else because these books were easy reads as well as exciting and thought provoking. Being a pk, unfortunately I could truly relate with the pk characters. Excellent job Mrs. Roby!

It's hard to keep me interested in any book and this did a great job. I was also very surprised that it had bible quotes as well. Look forward to reading future books.

I have read the entire Pastor Black series and have truly enjoyed each book. Kimberla is an awesome writer. Can't wait for the sequel now that Matthew is going to Harvard and has a baby on the way. This can't be the end of Curtis Black and his family.

I did feel it was predictable towards the end but overall was a good book.
