Since I'm a visual learner, watching these videos (especially the one on how to properly shape biscuits) really helped. I'm ready to wow friends and family at a holiday brunch next week—thanks, Nathalie and Cynthia!

As Jimmy Dean used to sing, "Will somebody please pass the biscuits?" You'll have your whole family longing for these biscuits because they are fabulous. Authors Nathalie and Cynthia put a challenging culinary feat into simple terms and guidance with their video and recipes. I used to live in the South and nothin' spells lovin' like these biscuits in the oven!

Every man with an appetite needs to know how to make a good biscuit. I've tried and failed so many times my wife said my biscuits sink. This book was a fantastic solution to my biscuit ineptitude. With clear instructions on biscuit basics and coupled with video demonstrations, Nathalie Dupree guided me to my best biscuits yet. And I learned that I can shape biscuits many different ways, something I had not considered. The added receipes were a bonus and delicious. Thank you.
  • Now I can have a biscuit whenever I want one!

I have had the hardest time being able to make a really good biscuit. Some recepies are too fluffy, some are too dense. Southern Biscuit Basics helped me learn how to make the perfect biscuit and they are sooooo delicious!

I can never make these biscuits again because I'm pretty sure I ate like ten of them. Love having the videos which shows how to shape the biscuits (although mine still look like Texas).

Okay, I admit, I don't EVER make biscuits, however, I decided that I would try it out for my holiday meals. This book makes it so easy and I LOVE being able to have my iPad right there in the kitchen. Kudos to Natalie and Cynthia, for making a novice feel like an expert!
  • Finally I can shape a biscuit by hand!

Although the video clips are short, I really appreciated seeing the hand-shaping. My grandmother passed away when I was young and I can picture her making biscuits, but I never learned. Now that I've seen the video, I think I can do it!
