One of Stuart Woods best! Action, great new & old characters, exciting ending!

Although the book was entertaining and held my attention to the finish, it is written so poorly and at such a sophomoric level that it was bothersome at every turn of the page. This is not for anyone looking for good literature but sufficient for a weekend or beach day read.
  • Another fairly entertaining book

Nothing new or original about this, but as always a good lite read. I think Woods is under time constraints or goofs off too much because the character depth he had in earlier books is dissolving in each of the past several books.

Time to give up on Mr. Woods. Last few books just don't have the juice he once gave us. Severe Clear gives us our favorite characters but only in token efforts. Plot is shallow and unimaginative. Too bad, I loved his earlier work.

Another fantastic story thank you! I have read all and yes I mean of your books to date and they keep getting better. The build up,and follow through is tremendous and keeps me reading to the end much quicker than I wish. Having read many authors over the years I must say that I wait in anticipation of each of your new books. I have never failed to enjoy one to date! Please keep them coming for all of us who enjoy your works. Truly a 5 star book to me!

One of the worst books I have ever read. I had given up on Stuart Woods but gave it one last chance after reading the first review, which I now wonder if it weren't written by the author. Sad because the books used to be very good.
  • Contrived. 3rd grade level

The plotting, like many of Mr. Woods recent books, seems like something a 3rd grader wrote, and requires the suspension of even the most basic intellect. It really wouldn't take that much more effort to write something worth reading, but Mr. Woods seems unwilling to put forth the effort, apparently opting for the easy payday. Highly disappointing.

I have read all of Mr. Woods books over the years. This one reminds me of his efforts in his prime. Very engaging....quality writing. The last three or four books prior to this one were disappointing and I was ready to retire this author from my must read list.....but he has returned with a bang. Looking forward to many more years of Stuart Woods at his best.
