  • Fantastic Way to Learn the Apple Pro Apps

    5
    By Aaron Weiler
I already owned 4 of Edgar's graphically enhanced manuals as PDF's, but wow, his reformatting of the guides in the iBooks format is a surprising improvement on an already terrific way to learn the Apple pro apps. I'm hooked and ready for the Motion 5.1 iBook.

I also have the official training book for Motion 5 from Mark Spencer (which is great), but this "graphically enhanced manual" explains this deep and complex program much more visual which helped me as the beginning tremendously to understand this app and also the whole motion graphic aspect of it

I always wanted to get into motion graphics but it was too expense and too difficult. Now that Apple lowered the price for Motion to a ridiculous low amount, the first barrier had fallen. But now I still had to learn it. I had the Compressor book from the same author and based on that experience I got this book. Wow, it won't get easier than that. Nicely done with step by step introductions of all the elements and workflows. Now I can make my own little effects for FCP. Thanks

I have also Mark Spencer's book but this Motion book puts a total different spin on learning such a complex app. The images and diagrams are the key to this amazing book. The author really understands how to explain complex topics so become so easy. Also, the price is very reasonable compared to the content it delivers. I really can recommend that book for anybody who wants to get their feet west with this amazing app from Apple.
