Description

From the author: I began sharing my original recipes at Gluten-Free Goddess® in late fall of 2005. There are over 400 original gluten-free recipes now on the Gluten-Free Goddess® food blog. Like so many readers I have discovered the convenience of bringing my iPad into the kitchen to cook. It is wonderful to have an entire blog available- right at my fingertips.

Looking over my recipe index I began to imagine an iPad ebook cookbook- a collection of recipe favorites from Gluten-Free Goddess®- the recipes I turn to, again and again. And the first Gluten-Free Goddess® iPad cookbook was born. A bright, concise, beautiful presentation of my favorite "Top 45" gluten-free recipes- a mix of 21 savory recipes, and 24 sweet recipes.

Included are my best gluten-free Pizza Crust recipe, our favorite Delicious Gluten-Free Bread and Whole Grain Bread, Skillet Cornbread with Green Chiles, Multi-Grain Dinner Rolls, Irish-American Soda Bread, and Whole Grain Olive Bread.

You'll find appetizers-- from Nutty Multigrain Crackers to Fried Zucchini Chips with dip-- and family favorites-- Kicked Up Mac n Cheese, Grilled Vegetable Pasta Salad, Quinoa Salad with Maple Vinaigrette, Zucchini Gratin and Sweet Potato Black Bean Enchiladas- and more. Lighter fare-- my reader's favorite Creamy Detox Soup, Quinoa Taco Salad, and Coconut Corn Chowder with Lime.

Breakfast and sweet recipes include Sunday Morning Pancakes, Peach Coffee Cake, Orange Kissed Almond Muffins, Spotted Dog, Blueberry Almond Muffins, Quinoa Breakfast Bars, Zucchini Bread, Iced Pumpkin Scones, Dark Chocolate Brownies, Chocolate Chip Cookies, Raspberry Coconut Almond Bars, Pumpkin Praline Pie, Flourless Dark Chocolate Cake, Coconut Layer Cake, pumpkin, vanilla, and chocolate cupcakes, and more.

It has hardly any dinner recipes and mainly baking/dessert items.

Her recipes make it possible for someone eating gluten-free not be on a steady diet of brown rice flour. Every recipe is delicious and a pleasure to make (and I don’t like to cook that much.) The photographs are a highlight for me. We are extremely grateful to you for publishing this “bible” of a cookbook for our household.

All of the recipes are so easily explained especially for a novice gluten free baker as myself. I really appreciate the educational value included in the book that defines gluten and the hidden gluten in food.

I haven't made too many of the recipes in this cookbook however, everything that I have made has been a success, better even than recipes with Gluten!

The Gluten Free Goddess recipes are my "go to" baking recipes. Each and every one has worked well and been delicious. No need to use other's recipes.

After 20 plus years of cooking and baking Gluten Free I was so pleased to find a chef who can infuse so much creativity and flavor in to her recipes. I've tried many of these dishes already and have not once been disappointed. The Gluten Free Goddess book definitely breathes new life into Gluten Free cooking, she is a real flavor artist.

As a person who feeds a family of 8 gluten free I love these recipes. I already know how to cook regular food GF, but baking and desserts can be tricky without wheat. I've been a glutenfreegoddess blog follower for several years now and have made many of the recipes into our family favorites. These are tried and true recipes that have never come out weird tasting as can happen far to easily with GF baked goods. Even gluten eaters are more than happy to eat my breads and cookies and that is the proof of a great GF recipe. Thanks Gluten Free Goddess!

This book has good ideas bought it for the convenience of quickly finding a recipe but this book is far to much baking and desserts and not enough real food. If I was a baker or not allergic to yeast I would love the baking section.
